ABOUT US

ΛΙΓΑ ΛΟΓΙΑ ΓΙΑ ΕΜΑΣ

Με βασικό στόχο να διαδώσουμε την αγάπη για την κεραμική, αποφασίσαμε να δημιουργήσουμε το «Cretan Spiral Pottery», μια μικρή τοπική επιχείρηση που αντλεί έμπνευση από το πάθος για την τέχνη της κεραμικής. Το εργαστήριο μας βρίσκεται δίπλα στη θάλασσα στην ανατολική Κρήτη μέσα σε έναν οικογενειακό, παραδοσιακό ελαιώνα.

Το ταξίδι μου ξεκίνησε στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 2000, όταν ένας έμπειρος κεραμίστας τρίτης γενιάς, βρέθηκε στον ελαιώνα μας για να κατασκευάζει πήλινα μπουκάλια λαδιού και άλλα σκεύη. Υπό την καθοδήγηση του ανακάλυψα το πάθος για την κεραμική στον τροχό.

Σήμερα και μετά απο πολλα χρόνια εξάσκησης και εμπειρίας, δημιουργούμε χειροποίητα, μοναδικά κεραμικά που συνδυάζουν λειτουργικότητα και ομορφιά, ενώ διοργανώνουμε εργαστήρια για αρχάριους και πιο έμπειρους ενδιαφερόμενους. Χρησιμοποιώντας τοπικούς πηλούς και τεχνικές που έχουν δοκιμαστεί στον χρόνο στα εργαστήρια μας, καθώς και υψηλής ποιότητας Stoneware κεραμικά για τα προϊόντα μας, δημιουργούμε έργα που αντικατοπτρίζουν τη δέσμευσή μας στην ποιότητα και την παράδοση.
